Thanks. My English teaching work life is so all-consuming with 150+ students, I never think about my author life when I’m there. Guess I compartmentalize to survive it. You are lucky to be in a creative shop!
I think you’re a better teacher than I am. You focus on that when you’re there. When I’m there, I focus on the job as I’m doing it but any time I’m not focusing on students or their work I long for creating. The shop helps. If I wasn’t there, I couldn’t do it anymore. I admire you as a teacher as much as I do a writer.
