Hello, friend! Wow, we do have a lot in common. Are you as burnt out as I am from teaching all these years, particularly the last few? Trying to find the joy. Gardening helps.
Everyone is burnt out in February. This week felt particularly full and nuts. I am a little spoiled. I teach one class and spend the rest of my day as a coach, working with amazing teachers, so I have time to decompress from the wheel on most weeks, not this one ;) I also run our creative writing club which publishes a literary magazine, and those kids feed me. I have been focusing on my writing this winter- I haven’t even started thinking about my spring garden, but I’m hoping to get there soon. Excited to connect across all these things.

Oof, I still teach 8 English classes lol (Four a day, and they rotate). I cannot wait for spring.
