I Loved it too! and same! Kristy, the puzzle you chose, the white peonies, the cats in the window...you have such an eye for beauty
Chaotic villain energy- love that - knowing our spouses - love that too
Please give me some strawberry advice if you have it. Mine are healthy plants but not producers and this is a consistent thread in my garden life.
Hugs to you as you mark s double graduation time. I’m two years away from that and already emotional. I also love this time. Students surprise me with some things they say at the end. I need to remember and hold onto those things come next February.
I treat my strawberries badly, rip out some of them, and I dumped a bag of composed cow manure on them this year, and they are thriving. 🤷♀️ They also get a lot of sun. One of my gardener friends said they used to mow down strawberries to keep them active.
Yes! Graduation made me miss my seniors even though some of them were annoying 😂 I also received a really sweet card and emails from some, and that’s always so nice to hear. Watching my youngest graduate was more happy than sad, the beginning of a letting-go process that I’m slowly accepting.
And your garden photos are so lovely! Our garden on an island off the coast of Maine is behind yours, but my peonies are budded and I can’t wait to see and smell their gorgeous lusciousness. Especially excited for my yellow one to bloom! 💕
Agree I could relate to just about everything you listed here. I need to try the peonies in my garden. They are so pretty and showy.
I enjoy puzzles also, but I only do them when I visit my mom. I just don't have a place to set one out here. Missing a piece is a running conversation with Mom. I don't really mind if only one is missing, but she is so funny - she refuses to even consider doing a puzzle unless she is confident 100% of the pieces are there.
Congrats on your graduate! Time to do some adulting!
I LOVED this post! Every item on this list is so cool. This reader needed this.

I’m inspired by my tiny seedlings beaten down by the rain and now slowly letting the rain drip away and reaching up towards the light. 🌱💚

So poetic. 🌱
My peonies are blossoming, too! I made the yummiest bouquet with them this afternoon.
They are so easy and beautiful once they finally start blooming.
