The weirdest part of being on vacation is convincing my nervous system that it’s okay to rest. I’m writing this post on my second official day of summer vacation from teaching, and it’s always a much needed time of year for me to rest, recover, and find my groove again.
It’s so good to see you here again, and as always I related to all of this. I put a lot of pressure on myself so I appreciate the permission to just be off. Also, love your garden pics. I now really want a yellow peony.

I’m glad to hear about the C update. I was wondering the other day how she’s doing.
You nailed the feeling of the first week of vacation. For me, it usually lasts for a few weeks and I’m REALLY trying not to let that happen this year.
